Painting the Dodge...

Fenders are off the car and amazingly not even a SINGLE HOLE of rusted panel behind the front tires and inside the fender well... not bad for 44 yr old lady ay?...

Nope, using hot air gun and paint-stripping chemical, then finally sanding it down to bare metal. No point going for sandblasting since there is hardly any rust on the car :)

Brian, James DCruz isnt cheap, yr pockets have to be real deep but he does a good job.

I think James Da Cruz is reasonable la, certainly not cheap but overhaul engine for rm1+k i think is ok rite? (parts i supply though). He grind the valves and its seats, skim the head very little and plus the normal labour of taking the engine out and taking it apart then fixing it back. Not bad rite 1+k?

You'll be surprised... actually not much more that what you would have to spend if u were to restore a 105 GTV for instance... example: Water pump US$44, fuel pump US$23, complete gasket set US$54, set of NEW valves US$12, etc etc... US cars are build to be CHEAP to run...

Was at Motorsports Playground nearby AlfaTech. Noticed that there are also some shops there doing resto job on old skool rides. One particular shop called Garang Continental or sumting.

Etching is a new process, but more work plus no bubbling...very good job...

Did you use paint remover or something else? really down to bare metal.

First hot air gun with a scraper. Then paint remover. Then sanding down to baremetal...

Depends if its "Your" price or "My" price... ;) well have to see the car to quote la but for the dodge everything 10k, including new floorboard and paint with Glasurit

(thats "normal" price, what he charge me I cant disclose here hehehe)

I did dropped by and met Rahmat. Saw your car and it was fantastic. :thumbs: I was just checking out his work after seen those photos on his facebook and I was impressed. Chatted a bit and I guessed his quotes are quite reasonable and can see this guy is passionate about his work. So kudos 164TS!!!
