Hi,

Since I am restoring the BMW which belonged and was raced by Ian Grey for many years, I am looking for any information, pictures or a contact to Ian Grey.
Is there anybody, who can help?

Last I heard, Harvey was based in Johor. A few of us knows his daughter.

I can ask my nephew , he was the manager for the Johor Circuit and very kamcheng with Harvey.

Well thanks, I would really appreciate, if somebody could try to find some contact details.
I am located in Germany and its very very difficult, to do research from here.

The only thing I found was a picture from a "come together of Malaysian racing veterans" in 2007.

As far, as I know, Ian Grey did race Harvey Yap´s Zakspeed Escort in Macau in 1979 too.

Actaully, the BMW was first raced in Germany in 1978 by Harald Ertl and it was the only BMW ever, which won the DRM, which was the top touring car series here.

Funny that you came to IA(an Italian car club) for help rather than any other BMW forum.
