I have 3 units of classic cars for sale, 2 Morris Minor and an Opel Kadett as is in the photos. These were running cars before but have been neglected for a couple of years. All the units come with log books but sorry without photo copy of I.Cs. I am selling in a package of 3 not by per unit and the asking price is 5K. You can see the cars parked outside because I have no more space in the covered garage. All the cars are parked at casey kassem garage. Anyone interested to rescue them can contact me @ 0197823855

True aron56. The car has to go through Puspakom Inspection not Jay Pee Jay. Someone was interested cause he can kow tim Puspakom. After that he kept silence and I did'nt bother to call him. After all, I can always send the cars to scrap yard but that will be the last thing to do. It's a pity to see three cars disappeared just in few minutes but if somebody willing to rescue it will be fun to see the cars back on our road. Tq.

Hey guys,

Just a quick sidetrack from the "Rescue Me", to the "Rescued!" The result of what can happen if you find a car that you want to rescue...

Remember that Merc W123 200T Wagon I found some time back? It looked like this on the day I found it:

Image

Well, since acquiring Belle (reg plate is BEL, geddit?), I'm very happy to say she now looks like this:

Image

I'd earlier found clear front signal lights for the car, but decided to swap back to the amber ones after finding the unique headlights with the 2 individual headlights in them...
Image

Exterior and Interior has been done, engine and gearbox serviced, new tyres, and I even managed to find some new and used parts for the car here and in Bangkok. A friend who's organising the 'Mercedes-Benz 125! Years of Innovation Anniversary' event has invited me to display the car at the show, so I will be there, it's going to be on May 8th at Mines I think, will update with more details when I get them, hope you guys can make it to the event :)

Cheers!

Stumbled on another car for the Rescue me! thread...

This lovely Merc Fintail is just rotting away at a workshop in Segambut. From Jalan Duta, take the roundabout 12 o'clock and keep to the LEFT, after about 50m, just before the traffic light, make a SHARP left turn, almost a U-turn, and the car is on the right, at the first workshop on the right.

Image

Sorry only one photo, the owner of the shop didn't seem too happy that I was taking a photo of the car. It is a bona-fide Fintail though, and well worthy of a restoration, it'll be pricey for sure, but worth it!

Sigh...so many of these cases, ppl bring a car in with plans to restore then disappear, of course the shop owner ain't too happy, not only is the car talking up space, but in some cases work has aready been done and the shop owner has paid up front...sad to see this happen.

Well, I found one in Subang, but apparently the owner does not wanna sell, the car has been lying out in the open for quite some time and many ppl have enquired about it...here you can see the workshop guys fitting the SIXTH car cover on the car, yeah, the car has been sitting so long it has gone thru 5 covers....sad, sad, sad! :(

Stumbled on another couple of cars in need of rescuing!

This GT Junior is almost beyond repair as rust continues to eat it, location Subang...can be salvaged, but it's going to cost a lot...

This Berlina is available for parts if anyone is keen, no papers unfortunately..the rear lights still look new....

That's exactly how I would want my classic AR to look like - bumperless, lowered and with wide ass wheels.

For the whole car? Let me check. Yeah, would be cool to have this as a track car or to participate in the JPM Hillclimb, strictly for track use only

Would you consider the whole car without the Lanica alloys? Just regular alloys or the original steelies. I think the seller wants to use the alloys for another car, seemed reluctant to give me a price initially.

That's exactly how I would want my classic AR to look like - bumperless, lowered and with wide ass wheels.

But this convert to race car can race at Sepang Night Races and also Classic Car races...how much is this price Chris, if its cheap i dont mind venturing although i would have to think where to park this :-''

Aron, we share cost to buy this car if price is ok. Want?

Parking not a problem anymore since I have a huge driveway now ;)

Well if price is cheap i dont mind  but (dont shoot me chris) if its below RM2k it would be good since it has no papers. Perhaps due to mentality as i bought 3 Alfetta's before (unrestored) for costs less than RM2k..as i said if its cheap i wouldnt mind...
