This is not a fastback, Eleanor if you look properly the rear screen angle reaches to the rear boot .

I thot its because its a diff year model, i.e '65 vs' 67? If this is not a fastback than what is this? Its not a sedan/saloon for sure...

baf7874 is the 70-73 mach 1, the model the original eleanor starred as. the remake with mr cage had the eleanor as a 67 shelby gt500 fastback. the white one is a 65/66 fastback. 164ts, for sale?

if i'm not mistaken, baf7874 was going for ~rm30k 2 years ago and has a bmw engine in it.

cheers mate. make sure you also tell him the end of the world is nigh and he should sell all his earthly belongings while he still can to buy himself a ticket to space and watch the planet go kabloom from a safe distance.

but seriously, max i don't think it's worth more than rm50k, considering the work that needs to be done to it.

You're a brave man! All the best if the owner accepts your offer.

Don't know. Would Jag know? Or perhaps Rainbird if they are still around.

164TSpark, is the Series 2 the one in 'The Graduate'? And what's the 'ducktail'? Only know of 'round-tail', 'boat-tail' and 'Kamm-tail'.

I see. Your 'duck-tail' is a Series 3. Is the guy's Series 2 in good condition or does it require restoration?

Yes I call the series 3 the "ducktail", dont know what others call it hehe.

As for the S2 spider, it is currently having restoration at Playhouse USJ1. So yes it does require work on it but he is asking 100k BEFORE the restoration LOL...

Ok. Yu iz crazee .

In all seriousness, finding a chassis is already difficult as it is, so I understand. Its like me finding a Datsun 240Z / Nissan S30 chassis - I'd be all over it like spicy kimchi on hot, fluffy white rice. One can only dream... Sigh.

Yeah man! Its my elusive motoring holy grail, the ultimate restoration project. Like the GTV 2000, my dad had one in the 70s and I've always hankered to own one myself.

Do drop me a PM if you know where to find a car or a chassis thats for sale!

My neighbour got one which he bought sometime back for a project. The car was left in his garage and I dont think he proceeded with his project. I am also not sure if he still has it as I saw that he got a new toy which arrived couple months ago.

Will check with him and enquire; and will let you know if anything interesting.
