David, do you get the clunking noise when you take off from stationary? Like when you reverse then step on the brakes? Could be top mounts..

Yeah i do get that but is a very soft sound especially when i reverse from my porch. The klunky noise is bad when i go banzai driving or hitting some pothole. If drive normally, it is ok.

Let's see once i fit the new coilover.

Ok...totally forgotten about this thread.

Sorry, my eariler assumption on the klunking noise had nothing to do with the Vibra mount as i realise it was due to Bilstein B6.

Now i am running on Titan adjustable shocks, no more klunking noise.

Look like RASS is unlucky on this. Perhaps manufacturing defect.

So to those who still haven't fit theirs, go fit now.

I'm going to order a left hand side gearbox mount some time this week. Would anyone who hasn't fitted theirs be kind enough to let me have it first? It has to be the new version with longer bolt. Will replace with a brand new one once mine arrives.

Unless anyone can tell me if replacing that particular mount can be done with the engine in place, then I can wait for the part to arrive from UK.

..although I'd much prefer to do it while engine is out to save on labour cost.

Yeah. I think I have one of those under my bed.

Anyway, who else has the left side mount installed. Would like to know how it's holding up.
