By the way, those car who make it more than 150k, have you changed all sensors already, or those also still going strong ? eg. Lambda, RPM, CAM sensor, throttlebody sensor, or even ignition coil ?

Ive had my lambda changed around a hundred plus because the fault showed on the reader. For the rebuild that I'm going through now at 280k, I'm changing my rpm, knock and phase sensors. Not because they're faulty, but the connectors have become brittle and seen better days. A matter of course actually. The phase sensor is something I would do at every timing belt change for peace of mind since its a belt-out job.

It senses the position of the cams at startup. A faulty phase sensor would result in the coupe not starting.

Coupe has one lambda sensor to my knowledge.

Started with an oil leak. Due for a belt change. Decided to drop the engine to address the leak and give it a good clean. Discovered some worn parts. With the milage its done, I'm not surprised. So might as well give it a breath of fresh parts while it's out. Big tear of the backside, but looking forward to another quarter million. ;)

kudos to those who clocked so much mileage and still kicking.. Just curious, anyone ever wonder, even tho the engine will be strong and kicking, especially after a rebuilt... what about the wiring harness ?? i read somewhere that the designed age for a harness should not exceed 10 - 13 yrs.. :?
