Guys, I've started a hobby project to enhance the coupe timeless styling. To give it a modern look.
It took me many many months to troubleshoot all the bugs and finalize all the details.
Alas it is done.

Hi gtfan,

I come up with the circuit design, the housing design(Solidworks makes it easy) and pay good money to get it manufactured!
Will sell it to the UK lads......it is some sort of replacement for our tail lamps.

Bro,

It is very very bright. As these will be sold to the UK lads, the quality has to be top notch.
LED itselfs is from Cree. The circuit is printed on a double layer PCB. The lenses are molded from good grade acrylic and the base cup is made from normal PP material.

But my ciplak hp camera dont do it justice.

what about reverse light or rear fog light ? Does it still emit as per standard ?

Signal Lights has move to inner ring above.
Reverse Light is still on Left Hand Corner Bottom
Rear Fog Light is also still on Right Hand Corner Bottom
Only difference is no half half like last time.

4 outer ring lights will on when you switch on the lights(I think it makes the coupe more balance)
And it will become brighther(around 50%) when the brake is depressed.

Tested it for 49 days adi and not a problem so far, so will start selling to the UK lads this week.

230 pounds for a group buy of 15 or 245 pounds for individual.
IA kaki if interested will get the discounted 230 pound, circa RM 1150.

RM 1150 is reasonable.

Fyi, the full set of tail lights from torino will easily costs rm800 (that also if they still have :-''

and discounted )

So rm1150 for led lights is good price for those seeking.

Damn.....i just change all my rear sets of lights (brand new) #-o

Thanks for the information. Anyway, in case anyone looking for 2nd hand lamp set, ah hong from alfa ricambi has them at around 90 bucks per lamp. He has a few. Haha, spoiling my own market.

Additional information, if you choose to purchase these LED lamps and you cant decide which one looks best for your coupe(yes we coupe owners are abit fickle) or you like them both, fret not as my Lamps are modularly constructed. It is a 3 pcs design. You can change the cover(of course you order additional) and you can repair them LEDs with my repair kits. Easy peasy, great for DIY buffs. In case you're wondering why I prepare repair kit, different batch of LEDs has different lux,spectrum(a bit), brightness and so on. So it might affect the color a bit if you simply buy other LEDs.

Good job on the works done. You manage to get Cree from the factory in Penang ? But personally, I never like the LED Dots on any LED lights/lamps. I prefer them diffused as some of this High Lumens LEDs are quite blinding. I am having a set for DRL but its ok coz its only glaring in the day time and at night, it switches off... Safety feature. Have you tried SMD LED ? Since wider beam makes it more diffused, well sort of.

Bro.. you might want to throw in some technical specs like power consumption for all the different lights as this will be a selling point. I am curious on the power consumption. Well as I explained it before, if LED is brighter & consume less power than original bulbs, its good for older cars like ours since the wiring is getting old... pay more to save your wires and less drain on alternator.

Quick question, with your LED replacement, does it disturb your blink rate for the blinkers ? I tested some LED lamps that I brought and it did. Do you know where to get Electronic Blinkers Relay ? Quality ones of course.

the abs(plastic) used is of high quality. It will not crack under the sun or anything.
thus i do not know how rizal147 can crack all the 4 covers. i could only assume some knocking or forcing to open the cover.
it is common grade hard transparent plastic for automotive industry.

i do not have the drawings here(in autocad) but it should be 2.5mm in thickness.
and the prototype one I'm using is over 1 1/2 years i think.
