power window

Postby marshal » Thu Sep 29, 2011 1:04 pm

guys, anyone having power window faulty?

My driver side spoiled few months ago when 1 of the plastic thingy inside got snap into half. So, i cant find the small part from any shop.

Yesterday, the passenger side had a huge crack sound, which i think is the same problem.

Any idea where to get the stuff?

Half cut sell the whole unit for abt rm400, which its unnecessay, cos the motor still in good shape.

Where did it break off from and how does the whole bit look like ? Could you post some pictures ? It could be made in aluminium if not too complicated...

called tanly motors, they don't have it either only the drivers side window, and they only sell the whole set not that piece only.

I just opened my passenger side door.......... found the same white plastic thing cracked, so one side of the window drops if i wind it down..........

anyone has any ideas where to get that small plastic thingy?! no point paying the whole price for a whole new motor when the motor runs fine.. :bangh:

Hi guys, sorry to be out of radar range about this.

I will be planning to do this fabrication soon for myself in this brand new year.
Anyhow a show of hands would be good for me to gauge interest.

Thanks Reben1 :P
At the moment I am figuring out if it is possible to replace the faulty parts only.
I thought it would be such a waste to replace the whole assembly when only a tiny portion is damaged.
So I am not looking for new ones yet however I am not sure about the interest of the rest of the forum members here about new ones.
Thanks anyhow. :P

been looking all over for that piece, I've got a tinting voucher that expires by end of feb, need to find that piece asap my window keeps sinking, otherwise i might just go and look for the whole set 2nd hand ones la from chop shop by end of this mth la enrick.......but will still get these pieces if you get it done, better to have spares as it breaks so easily.

thx again for looking into these, fellas!
